Safety, verification, and corrections

Last updated: August 2026

Safety first

Get people and pets to safety before dealing with property damage. Do not enter standing water where electricity may be present. Do not switch electrical power on or off while standing in water. Leave and contact emergency services or the appropriate utility if there is fire, a gas smell, structural movement, sewage, hazardous materials, or another immediate danger.

This page provides general safety information, not professional emergency, medical, environmental, electrical, structural, insurance, or legal advice.

How a provider earns a listing

The directory looks for evidence of a real business identity, water-damage restoration work, meaningful Northern Delaware service relevance, and a defensible operating address. Evidence may include official business materials, public registration records, certification records where available, and other public sources. Scraped or discovered information is never published automatically.

What review does not mean

Review does not mean that the directory has inspected a provider's work, verified every employee, audited insurance, guaranteed licensing, or confirmed present availability. It is not an endorsement, ranking, certification, or promise of performance.

Franchises and regional offices

Related franchise territories may be consolidated into one public record when that is clearer for users, while separate internal records are retained. Offices outside Delaware are labeled and included only when reviewed evidence supports Northern Delaware service coverage.

Corrections, updates, and removal

A provider or member of the public may submit evidence that a listing is inaccurate, outdated, duplicated, inactive, misleading, or improperly attributed. The directory may correct, caveat, suspend, consolidate, or remove a record after review. Requests do not guarantee a particular outcome or immediate action.

Accessibility

The directory aims to support keyboard navigation, readable contrast, scalable text, descriptive structure, and mobile use. Accessibility problems should be included through the same published correction channel once that channel is activated before launch.

Source protection

Provider websites, direct telephone numbers, emails, raw evidence URLs, reviewer notes, crawl errors, and internal suspicion signals are not displayed in public listing cards.
